Ivanhoe East Primary School

This is the one opportunity every week for the whole school community to gather together and hear about past or coming events, celebrate student and staff achievements and successes and share in the learning. We begin each assembly with our National Anthem and then hear from our principal, sporting team captains and groups of students presenting their current units of learning to the broader community. We also celebrate the achievements of our students through 'Student of the Week' awards.

In 2008 we have had more contributions from our students. The senior students have taken on many responsibilities of running the assemblies, including presenting items digitally.
